Amanda Nelson-Carter, MA

Amanda Nelson-Carter is a native Oklahoman. She attended the University of Oklahoma, obtaining a Masters Degree in Human and Health Services Administration.

Amanda has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years, with 7 of those at Living Hope. She has worked with people in all walks of life, recognizing early on that meeting people where they are at that moment, and walking beside them, can lead them down the path of their choosing in a successful way. She has worked as a Certified Case Manager, has served on a Crisis Intervention Team, and is trained in Motivational Interviewing. She is honored to be able to connect with the patients seeking services at Living Hope and working with them and their families to get them the care they need. Recovery truly is possible. During her free time, she loves spending time with her son, husband, and their fur babies. She loves to travel, shop, and watch college basketball and football games.
